About

The Digital Library at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley

Spurred on by an effort to provide wide-spread access to the Library's materials and to preserve these items in a more sustainable format —the UTRGV Digital Library was created to help fulfill this initiative, and will continue to grow in the years to come as a resource that will assist researchers to learn more about the unique and storied history of the Rio Grande Valley and northern Mexico.

The majority of the collections in the Digital Library come from the materials preserved and stored in the Library's Archives and Special Collections department. For more information about our collections and services, please visit our web page here
